What Makes Shaw Tower A Sustainable Green Building?
ENERGY SAVING
PRACTICES
We have incorporated smart control and chiller optimisation solutions, as a major sustainable aspect at Shaw Tower. Our cutting-edge methods for chiller optimisation make sure cooling systems run as efficiently as possible, cutting down on waste and carbon emissions. The smart control systems allow us to monitor real-time data and alter the performance as necessary.
We’ve also integrated IoT sensors into our lighting systems, which has allowed us to achieve additional energy savings. These sensors regulate the lighting intensity in accordance with daylight levels, and occupancy. This results in saving energy usage as the lights are only turned on when they are required.
To achieve the ideal balance between comfort and efficiency, Shaw Tower is also integrated with high-performance AC fan systems. This provides a cool and comfortable temperature within the building while using less energy. Moreover, by employing effective fans with variable speed controls, we ensure that the cooling process is tailored according to real-time needs, further lowering wastage.
GRADE A
ENERGY EFFICIENT
OFFICE SPACES
Premium Grade A offices with column-free floor plates allow for better utilisation of natural light, promoting energy efficiency. It also boasts the use of low-E laminated glass with an ETTV Value of 36.9W/m2. Overall, Shaw Tower’s energy efficient design is expected to achieve greater than 40% energy savings compared to prevailing building code.
Flexible office space provider(s) will also be available as an amenity to the building, in turn enabling tenants to adopt a flexible approach as needed. Additionally, meeting / conference rooms can be booked within flexible office spaces which enables tenants the flexibility to reduce meeting room allocations on their tenancy space but flexibly book those which are offered in the flexible office space. This in turn enables greater efficiency and flexibility in the planning of layouts in a tenancy space. This sustainable approach significantly helps reduce waste, conserve resources, and minimize the carbon footprint associated with traditional office setups and increase space use efficiency.
END-OF-TRIP
FACILITIES
Shaw Tower’s end-of-trip facilities (EOTF) stand as a testament to its commitment to fostering sustainable and healthy lifestyles. By providing a space that encourages active and green commuting, Shaw Tower promotes a shift away from car dependency, subsequently reducing its carbon footprint. The inclusion of air-conditioned EOT facilities not only ensures occupant comfort but also adds an element of luxury and comfort to the post-commute experience. The integration of smart lockers adds a touch of modern convenience, allowing individuals to securely store their belongings.
INNOVATIVE
CONSTRUCTION
PRACTICES

Moreover, Shaw Tower’s utilisation of cutting-edge carbon capture technology and carbon cure concrete demonstrates its dedication to addressing climate change, reducing its carbon footprint while ensuring structural integrity.
